Sl. No.80; Gidhu dhuniku thaka dheem; Dhanaasri; Aadi ; Thillana; Hindi
Artist: Dr. B. Arundhathi.
Note:
This thillana was recreated by the famous violinist Sri Lalgudi G. Jayaraman, in the current form. It is a unique thillana in its structure and expression (for instance the stanza which says "listen to what the anklet is saying … followed by a beautiful string of jathis … jhanana jhanana jhanana thom, jhanana jhanana jhanana thom, jhanana jhanana jhanana…). Sri Lalgudi Jayaraman, himself a vaggeyakara who has contributed exquisite thillanas (in addition to varnams and krithis), seems to have poured in his musical soul into this thillana. Its charanam (which is same as that of "Aaj Aaye", composition No. 1), is noted for sublime bhava. Dr. M S Subbalakshmi, Smt. M L Vasanthakumari, Madurai T N Seshagopalan, Dr Semmangudi … list of artist who have performed this is too long.

The maidens are dancing to the sound of music TAI TATAI etc.
Their anklets are soundings as JHANANA JHANANA TOM etc. and they recited tai ta tai tata etc.
Oh PADMANABHA! Everything is your sports-LILA! Oh My beloved! Please come and dissolve all my miseries!
