This kriti on Guruvayoorappan is sung in Abheri by Sri Trichur V. Ramachandran

Oh PANKAJAYAYANA! Your glory is sacred! Protect me always.
Grant me the devotion towards you. Oh the one who favours the hapless. One who excels the effulgent form of the water bearing dark clouds. Oh SAURI! Grant me the comfort, oh the Lord of GURUVAYUR! Grant me oh Lord! The ocean of compassion!
Oh the one who protected the elephant! PADMANABHA! Reclining on the serpent! Why there is no sympathy evolving towards me? Please show your compassion to me-the dejected one. Oh the one shining with fish shaped ear ornament! Your divine spots are praise worthy. One who is distinguished among celestials!
One who sports GARUDA as the mount. Oh VASUDEVA! KRISHNA! One who was the indispensable charioter for PANDAVA-s oh consort of LAKSHMI! Oh the one who burnt to cinder the wicked demons who are the enemies of the celestials! One who was worshipped by BRAHMA and INDRA. One who dissolved the pride of the king serpent KALIYA.
One who delights in sporting with the cowherd maidens. Oh KESAVA! One who is adorned in the hands with conch, wheel, mace and lotus. One whose neck is adorned with splendid garlands; clan of GOPA-s one who is the vanquisher of demon MADHU; oh Lord! Beholder of mountain! I take refuge unto you. Oh God!
